How FlyBun finds flight deals

Where our fares come from, what counts as a deal, and what we don't do.

What we check

350+ international return routes from Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Bengaluru (BLR), Chennai (MAA), Hyderabad (HYD), Kolkata (CCU), Kochi (COK) and Ahmedabad (AMD), to 45+ destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, Oceania and Africa. Every route is checked every 4 hours, across departure dates months ahead, using Google Flights and flight-price data feeds. Fares are economy, one adult, return.

What counts as a deal

Each fare is compared with that route's own price history, not a made-up “original” price. It becomes a deal when it is cheaper than most fares we've seen on that route and at least 20% below its typical price. Routes with little history are compared with their rolling average and need to be 25% below it.

Every deal gets a score from 1 to 10. A fare cheaper than 95% of what we've seen on the route scores 9; statistically extreme lows and fast-falling prices score higher. The “usually” price on a deal comes from the same route history.

Mistake fares

A fare 60% or more below normal, or absurdly cheap for the distance, is flagged as a possible airline pricing error. We re-check those every 15 minutes and drop them the moment they disappear. Airlines sometimes cancel mistake-fare tickets, so wait for your ticket confirmation before paying for non-refundable hotels.

How fresh the prices are

A fare marked Live was checked in the last 48 hours, and only live fares are shown as bookable. Deals that stop being confirmed are removed, and their pages are marked as expired and taken out of search engines. Month tables show the lowest fare seen in the last 14 days, each labelled with the date we saw it.

Booking and payment

You book on Google Flights or the airline. FlyBun doesn't sell tickets or add fees. On deal pages, “Best way to pay” estimates the price after bank-card offers on booking sites.

Visa information

Visa labels are for ordinary Indian passports travelling as tourists, checked against official government and embassy sources. Rules change often, so confirm before you book.

What we don't do

  • No fake “people viewing this deal” counters or countdown timers.
  • No inflated “was” prices. The usual price is the route's real history.
  • No auto-renewing subscriptions. Premium is a one-time payment: ₹399 for a year or ₹99 for a month.
  • No booking markups.
